A1viz RAL Harmony Studio

One color is the basis of the entire palette.

A tool for selecting color combinations in 3ds Max. Choose the initial RAL, and the script will find suitable shades and create spheres with materials in the scene: Standard, Corona, or V-Ray.

Main advantages:

From one color to a ready combination. Choose a palette around the already selected color of walls, furniture, or another element of the project.

Two approaches to color. Classic harmonies for expressive combinations and Designer Palette for tonal layouts - from dark accent to light base.

Colors from the RAL catalog. All shades are selected from the chosen CLASSIC, DESIGN, or EFFECT table.

Materials immediately in the scene. The result is a visual array of spheres with assigned materials of the selected type.

Less manual selection. No need to search for each shade separately, transfer color values, and create materials manually.

Nine selection modes, classic harmonies are calculated based on the artistic color wheel RYB, after which the script finds the nearest suitable shades in the active RAL table.

Designer Palette - a designer layout of five colors. A separate mode builds a palette based on lightness, saturation, and tonal relationship:
DARK → DEEP → MID → LIGHT → TINTED WHITE
The original color must remain in the palette. The script determines its role based on lightness and selects the other four shades, reducing saturation towards the light end.

The calculation is performed in the OKLab / OKLCH space. The mode also works with neutral gray and beige shades. Repeating codes and identical HEX values are excluded from the selection.

Material names contain the RAL code, shade name if available, HEX value, and material type. In Designer Palette, object names additionally denote color roles: DARK, DEEP, MID, LIGHT, and TINTED WHITE.

Colors are based on built-in digital HEX values. For the final choice of physical paint or coating, use the RAL fan deck.

Compatibility: tested on 3ds Max 2024-2027, but should work in older versions as well.
