Dango
The idea to create a Dango armchair was visited by Agnieszka Koval when she helped her friends move dimensional, heavy furniture.
We love to relax comfortably in soft chairs, sofas, chairs, but this does not mean that we should “keep” bulky and difficult to move furniture at home.
Koval developed a compact chair that is easy to move and which, moreover, is easy to equip with additional soft elements.
Inspired by Japanese culture, the designer decided to use simple materials and make the chair low. The name Dango is in honor of Japanese sweet rice flour dumplings.
The product is made of plywood, which was processed in such a way as to allow flexibility in the area of connection of the back and seat. On the sides - leather straps to preserve the arcuate shape of the chair. There are two soft ottomans that are easily mounted on the back and seat for added comfort.
