The CORONADO SolarMax III 90 Double Stack Solar Telescope is a chromospheric telescope for observing prominences, floccules, solar filaments, and flares. It is equipped with two full-aperture Fabry-Perot reference filters, which are located in front of the lens and narrow the bandwidth to 0.5 Angstroms. The image quality in this telescope is significantly higher than in chromospheric models with a single filter. At the same time, the telescope is also suitable for classical astronomical and landscape observations, since all filters are removable.
