Dohyo Ishidoro, also known as the "Pointer Lantern," can be seen throughout Japan. As the name suggests, it is a combination of a pointer and a lantern. It is often installed along paths to guide visitors through the garden at night.

The archive contains a 3Ds Max 2019 scene for Corona and V-Ray + fbx files.

The preview renders were done in Corona Render 12. The model uses Corona Physical Mtl. A version of Corona Render no lower than 1.5 is required. Material conversion to V-Ray was done using the V-Ray Scene Converter.

For Corona Render, it is recommended to install a version no lower than 1.5, as the glossiness of the materials is set with PBR in mind.

Those working in V-Ray versions lower than 3.1 should be cautious; the materials in the BRDF section use Microfacet GTR (GGX). If your version is older than 3.1, the BRDF field will be empty. Choose Blinn, Phong, or Ward – whichever you prefer.
