Description:
Early Vladimir Kagan Sofa in 1950. Vladimir Kagan is a legend of 20th century American design. His works are made of natural materials, and the frames are made by hand from noble walnut.

"King of sofas" - so one day he will be called. The slogan of Vladimir Kagan's company: "One piece of Vladimir Kagan furniture and others are no longer needed."

Kagan inherited the main principles of work from his father: handicraft and custom-made furniture. At 22, Kagan created the Serpentine sofa, one of the icons of 20th century design with its characteristic flowing shapes.

Vladimir Kagan revolutionized upholstered furniture. His sofas seem to be alive: they wriggle, drawing smooth lines in space.
