Equal Spacing: live, one-spinner object alignment for 3ds Max

Lining up chairs, columns, frames, shelves, or any set of objects with consistent spacing is one of those small tasks that eats a surprising amount of time when done by hand. HEbram Equal Spacing reduces it to a single control.

How it works

Select the objects you want to line up (two or more).
Run the script and drag the Spacing spinner, or type a value.
The objects move in the viewport as you drag, so you can find the right spacing by eye.
Release the spinner and the result is final. One Ctrl+Z restores everything.

What it does

Places the objects in a row along the X axis with exactly equal gaps between their bounding boxes, even when the objects have different sizes.
Aligns the other two axes (Y and Z) to the leftmost object.
Keeps the leftmost object where it is and arranges the rest relative to it.
Only moves objects. Geometry, rotation, scale, pivots, materials, modifiers, and hierarchy are not changed.
Understands your scene units: millimeters, centimeters, meters, inches, and feet. The default spacing is 20 cm regardless of unit setup.
