“The Fiber bar stool is a sublime extension of the Fiber stool family. While retaining the essence of the Fiber series - a clear sculptural language that refuses to compromise on comfort - the bar stool is a versatile and suitable companion for any setting. We wanted to create a harmonious and friendly object with soft shapes that would fit both the cafe setting and the bar counter or kitchen counter. The seat of the stool is made of wood fiber composite, which gives the design a unique expression and tactile texture.” -Iskos-Berlin
With an expression that is both comfortable and harmonious, the Fiber bar stool is a design with an unobtrusive yet distinct personality. Designed in two different heights, both with and without backrest, the Fiber bar stool embodies the ideals of simple modern design with a human touch.
Iskos-Berlin are a Copenhagen-based design duo that has gained worldwide fame in the fields of furniture, industrial and graphic design. The studio, formerly known as Komplot Design, has collaborated with some of the world's most prestigious manufacturers and their furniture, lighting and other design products are exhibited in many design museums around the world, including MoMA and the Danish Design Museum.
