Flato Roof 1.1 is a procedural generator of equipment for flat roofs in 3ds Max.
Select a closed spline or flat roof and click Generate: technical floors, ventilation shafts, air conditioning units, chillers, fans, sewer outlets, tanks, electrical cabinets, and obstruction lights will be automatically distributed based on the roof area.
The script works in any system of measurement at a 1:1 scale, supports multiple roofs at different heights, auto-rotation of objects, edge offsets, UVW mapping, and Corona materials. Each generation result is created as a separate group — click the button again to get a new layout.
Technical Floor: Activate this parameter only for tower-type buildings. In this case, it is generated strictly at the center of the object. For other building types, it is recommended to disable this parameter.
Included are: Flato.ms script, toolbar icons, and a PDF user manual.
Installation: copy Flato.ms to Scripts, Scripting → Run Script, add a button through Customize User Interface (category Flato)
