Originally designed in the 1960s by Murano-based Carlo Nason, Gelato has been re-engineered into a playful portable lamp. Its colorful mouth-blown base holds an orb of acid-etched opaline glass. Gelato, eponymously named for its resemblance to the quintessential Italian symbol, features a colorful glass vase, or cup, that nestles an orb of frosted glass.
Gelato is offered in four distinct finishes aptly named to highlight its Italian heritage: Spritz (orange), Mint (green), Azure (blue), and Smoke (grey). This varied color offering makes Gelato exceptionally suitable for interiors from a beautiful minimalist home to a buzzling colorful café.
