To illuminate the furnace space from the fire, you need to put a round lamp under the grill, adjust the exclusion of coal lighting in it and disable its visibility during rendering.
Set the appropriate light color for the lamp.
The color/intensity of the glow of the flame and coals is adjusted in the Advanced material options tab.
