An extendable table is a piece of furniture that takes up little space when folded, but can accommodate more people when extended. It consists of three parts: two make up the tabletop, and the third is stored in a compartment underneath. When more people need to be seated at the table, the additional part is inserted in the middle, thereby increasing its size.
