Before rendering, go to the Rendering - Effects tab, click on Hair and Fur and select mr prim mode below, drop the texture by expanding the Material Parameters rollout into the tip color and root color cells, TOUCH ME DEEP bump2 texture, drop the General Parameters rollout into the Scale cell.
