The Layup chair is the result of a conceptual study exploring the current and future possibilities of 3D plywood moulding technology.
Over the past century, pushing the boundaries of wood bending has been a constant topic of conversation between designers and industry.
Layup optimistically envisions a complex multi-component 3D veneer construction in which each of the chairs' molded plywood components is seamlessly joined together to form a unique sculptural gesture.
