The Material Inspector script for 3ds Max analyzes materials in a scene.
He:
Scans all materials and determines their type (V-Ray, Corona, Arnold, Octane, Redshift, Standard, Physical, etc.).
Checks if materials are compatible with the current renderer and marks them as "foreign".
Searches for "foreign" maps inside materials (for example, Corona textures in a V-Ray scene).
Collects a list of objects that use each material.
Allows you to clear the Material Editor of unnecessary slots.
Able to clear the stage of unused materials.
Displays results in a convenient table with color coding of material types.
It is possible to copy the list of materials to the clipboard (with log).
Essentially, it's a tool for auditing scene materials, identifying conflicts between different renders, and optimizing the scene.
