A high-quality antique Italian fireplace carved from sculptural marble. A running frieze with elegant carvings, decorated with sunflowers and foliage, with a female mask in the center. Round tapering columns with carved capitals, inverted acanthus leaves. The beginning of the 19th century. Although it belongs to the Italian category, it demonstrates many of the design qualities inherent in the period of the English regency.
