MZP Extractor is an insurance policy in case the built-in MZP installer fails. It allows you to extract the contents and install the script manually so that everything works stably even in Windows 11 and new versions of 3ds Max.

ℹ️ note:
This program is an independent Python application, compiled in .exe without a digital signature.
Antiviruses and Windows SmartScreen may mistakenly identify such files as suspicious.
A digital signature is usually only available to companies and is expensive.
You can run the .exe without any problems — it's not a virus.

When is it particularly useful

The script has been purchased, but is not visible in Customize → Customize User Interface.

Why sometimes MZP is not installed?

There are several common reasons:
Windows 11 Features
In Windows 11, the system cleans up temporary folders (Temp) faster, where MZP is unpacked during installation.
Because of this, the script may get "lost" after restarting Max.
The unfinished MZP installer
Some script authors do not add a full-fledged installer.
As a result, MZP contains only files, but not a script that will extract them correctly.
3ds Max version conflict
The script was made for the old Max (for example, 2020), but in the new versions (2024-2026), the startup procedure works differently.
Access rights restrictions
If Max or Windows are running without administrator rights, MZP may not have access to write files to AppData or the Scripts folder.

Here you can take a bat file for free, it should solve 90% of such problems, but there are scripts that don't even want to install, so that's why you need to unpack them.
