The file contains a parametric object that needs to be installed in 3ds Max. After installation, you will be able to create this object just like other primitives (box, cylinder, teapot, etc.)
The object has customizable parameters:
Width, length, height, rail width, spacing between rails and their rotation, enabling/disabling the background, as well as attaching and detaching it.
The object automatically sets up the UVW mapping, which can also be adjusted:
rotation of the mapping along with the rotation of the rails, texture size, enabling real-world map, offset of the mapping, and rotation of the mapping by 90 degrees. Material ID can also be configured separately for the background and separately for the rails.
How to install:
1. Unzip the archive
2. Copy the file "A2_Panel_rails.mse" to the folder: ...\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 20**\Plugins\
After restarting 3ds Max, the object will be available in the Create tab - Geometry - A2Studio
