The polished brass shade, composed of three parts, brings a bright-toned warmth to the room and provides the diffuse light characteristic of Alvar Aalto's designs. The small perforations around the rim serve to reduce glare. Pendant Light A330 was first used in the teachers' canteen at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland.
