The portable radio receiver of the 2nd class "Ocean-209" has been manufactured by the Minsk PTO "Gorizont" since 1976. The receiver is based on the model "Ocean-205" and differs from it in improved parameters and external design. The receiver operates in the ranges of LW, MW, HF (5 sub-ranges) and VHF-FM. In the VHF range, the frequency adjustment is automatic. The receiver has: separate tone controls for HF and LF; pointer tuning indicator; scale backlight.
