Svarog - the god of heavenly fire, the patron saint of the hearth and blacksmith's craft, was considered the ruler of the Universe. One of the main gods of the Slavic pantheon. In the darkness, he kindled a flame of lightning, breaking the clouds with them. He gave life to the sun.
