Soft Medium Pendant by Tom Dixon
White Sprayed TPU
There are two lamps in the scene:
1. With the light on (material no. 1)
2. With the lights off (material no. 2)
The model is made for anti-aliasing (on Turbosmooth render - 2 iterations).
The modifier stack is not collapsed.
The archive contains versions of 3ds max 2017 (Corona) and 2021 (Corona), and a separate library of materials for the Corona renderer.
The archive contains FBX (Corona) and OBJ formats - without the Turbosmooth modifier!
The SOFT shade by Tom Dixon showcases an understated aesthetic, producing a warming diffused glow. Inspired by the near-spherical surface of planets, these distinct pendants are constructed from welded steel frames sprayed with a cocoon of diffusing TPU, a durable and flexible material that bridges plastic and rubber. Available in both 45cm and 60cm sizes, SOFT pendants are lightweight yet space-filling. SOFT comes with the option to customize color temperature, brightness, and dimming through Edison Screw (ES) bulbs. Each pendant comes with a 3.5m white fabric-covered cable and matching fitting.
