The form factor of the table was developed while solving the problem of getting closer to the Zero Waste concept when cutting sheet material. This made it possible to find a balance between an image that refers us to the Japanese Torii gate and rational use of resources. All table elements are cut out on one sheet of plywood.

The rounded edges along the long sides of the table make the look softer and more inviting. This adds comfort when using the table, both dining and writing.
