The modern MERANO armchair got its name from the hometown of Italian designer Alexander Gufler. The dominant elements of the chair are two curved sheets of plywood axially intersecting with each other, which serve as a seat and support for the back. Despite the bends, the legs of the chair support the traditional bends of TON products and remain completely straight.
