In 1934, the architect Josep Torres Clavé created this armchair to furnish the Pavilion of the Spanish Republic at the International Exhibition in Paris in 1937 alongside works such as Picasso 's Guernica, Alexander Calder and Joan Miró. Structure oak with fabric seat and backrest with handmade rope manufacturing.
