Upglas is a story of transformation, where forgotten fragments of Murano glass are reimagined into sculptural light. Using a patented process, leftover glass is ground into powder, combined with biodegradable resin, and shaped by hand like dough before being fired at low temperatures to reduce impact. The result is a smooth yet tactile surface, marbled with unique chromatic patterns that make every lamp one of a kind. Drawing on Murano's legacy of glassmaking and Luca Nichetto's passion for material experimentation, Upglas is both a visual statement and a sustainable innovation. Launched as table lamps in two shapes and four duo-toned colors, it invites a new way of seeing beauty in design and in transformation.
