What it does
Clean Angle creates a bevel: it joints parts with a thickness at a 45-degree angle. Suitable for tiles and porcelain stoneware, including textured ones, wall panels, skirting boards, and built-in furniture. Select the parts and press a single button. The script automatically finds all angles between them, both external and internal, and cuts each part diagonally at the joint. You can select a couple of parts or the entire cladding at once.
The angle between parts can be any: at 90 degrees, the cut is at 45, at 120 at 60, and at 60 at 30.
The gap between the parts is set in scene units, 0 means tight. The part that extends beyond the corner is trimmed by the script. The part that does not reach the corner is extended by the script: it stretches along the entire length, so the texture reaches the very edge. The texture on the front faces remains in place, the cut follows the ready UV map. For the extended part, the texture stretches along with it, and the result shows by how many percent; to prevent the texture from stretching, overlap the parts up to the outer corner. The model without a back side is closed by the script itself; otherwise, the gap shows emptiness.
The model under the bevel remains unchanged: everything is laid on top with standard 3ds Max modifiers named Clean Angle. If a different gap is needed: enter it and press again, the joint will be rebuilt. The "Remove bevel from selection" button removes it. The scene with the bevel can be opened in 3ds Max even without the script.
A pair of textured panels joints in less than a second. The action "Clean Angle: make" can be assigned to a hotkey: beveling the selection without a window. The interface is in Russian and English, the language switches in the window header.

Limitations
1. Designed for 3ds Max 2021-2027, did not run in 2022, 2023, and 2025. Does not work in 3ds Max 2020 and older.
2. Cuts only parts with thickness; parts without thickness are skipped.
3. Does not joint parts in the same plane: a border frame, a tabletop corner, a casing.
4. Does not cut cladding of two walls glued into one object: separate parts are needed.
5. Does not touch T-joints and parallel parts.
6. Stretches a textured part no more than 10%. If more is needed, the angle is skipped, and the reason is written in the end.
7. Instance copies that are caught in the bevel become separate objects; otherwise, the cut would apply to all copies.
8. In 3ds Max 2021, the cut edge receives a distorted UV map and a new material ID; in 2024, 2026, and 2027, the UV map at the cut is the same scale as on the front side.
9. The window with design requires the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime component, which is already present in Windows 11. If it does not launch, the script will open a simple window with the same buttons.

Network and windows
The script does not access the internet. Each time the window is opened, the script shows a small window with the author's contact information. The "Don't show again" checkbox disables it, and the contacts remain under the "Contacts" button in the window header.

Installation and removal
Close 3ds Max and run Install.cmd: directly from the archive or from the unpacked folder. Administrator rights are not required. A menu item "Ch+P" will appear in 3ds Max, containing Clean Angle. To uninstall, close 3ds Max and run Uninstall.cmd. Bevels in the scenes will remain.
