The model is made under anti-aliasing. For distant plans, the first smoothing iteration is suitable, or even zero, if the object in the frame is quite small. For large plans, iteration two. For clozapes in high resolution, the third iteration is better (but be careful, if your computer is an old man on the bark of an oak tree, then at the third iteration, 3dmax may faint)
