Youth sofa "Karpett"
Austere concept of youth furniture from Parisian studio 5.5 designers - a sofa for ascetics
Their work, called "Karpett", is reminiscent of the shopping conveyor belt installed in stores in front of the checkout.
And according to the authors’ idea, it is intended to replace several pieces of furniture and interior design at once: a folding bed, a rug, and a bench.
The authors position their project as a combination of three important components: creative humor, aesthetics and simplicity. In their opinion, young people cannot always afford to furnish their homes with a sufficient number of necessary items, and it is for such cases that Karpett is intended due to its multifunctionality.
