The scene has a TurboSmooth - 1 Render iters modifier, the stack is not collapsed. There is no modifier in export files.

The pile is implemented by the displacement map. For close-up shots, I recommend setting Screen size: 1px in Render Setup> Performance> Displacement, for medium and long shots, this value can be increased to 2-3px.

The model was created in 3ds Max 19.
