The Leak Stereo 130 integrated amplifier is based on the classic Leak Stereo 30, released in 1963. That amplifier was the first mass-produced all-transistor amplifier without transformers at the output.

The company envisions this integrated amplifier as the heart of any audio system, as it's ready to handle both digital and analog sources: it features an ES9018K2M-based DAC, which handles 32-bit/384 kHz PCM and DSD256 signals, and an MM phono preamp. Inputs include linear analog, coaxial, two optical, and USB. It also supports Bluetooth signal transmission via aptX.

The amplifier operates in Class AB, and during its development, the company paid close attention to meticulous shielding of its components, using separate low-noise power supplies for critical components, and separating the analog and digital signal paths. The amplifier delivers 45 watts per channel into 8 ohms, and 65 watts per channel into 4 ohms.

The aluminum front panel, along with the input selector and volume control, features two tone controls, a “Direct” button, and a headphone output.
