After surviving the earthquake in Lisbon in 1755, the royal family decided to settle in a more durable residence than before. It was then that the Ajuda Palace was built, and since then several families have lived in it. Over the years, the palace has also undergone some changes and was even partially destroyed by fire.

Inspired by this exquisite building with such deep roots, the designers of Malabar created this timeless Cortez console. The upper part of the console, supported by two elegant geometric legs, is made of lacquered wood, covered with glossy varnish, and decorated with gold leaf-covered details. The Cortez console will decorate any living room in a royalist style, recalling the era of kings and queens.
