A script for quick and convenient batch scaling of maps and textures in 3ds Max.
Main purpose:
The script allows you to change the tiling or physical size of maps across the entire scene or only on selected objects, by a specified multiplier with just a couple of clicks, eliminating the need for manual editing of each material.
Key features:
Intelligent handling of Real-World Scale (RWS):
The script automatically accounts for the difference between regular tiling and RWS. When changing the physical size on RWS maps, the multiplier is automatically inverted—the visual scale of the texture changes consistently and predictably regardless of the UV coordinate mode used.
Filtering by map types:
Standard Tiling Only — changes only maps with classic tiling (ignores RWS).
Real-World Scale Only — changes the size only for maps with the RWS checkbox enabled.
All Maps — proportionally scales absolutely all maps in the scene.
Flexibility of application:
The ability to apply changes to the entire scene (Apply to ALL Maps) or only to the maps on selected meshes (Apply to SELECTED).
Support for third-party renderers:
Correctly processes standard 3ds Max maps, VRayBitmap, CoronaBitmap, and other procedures.
All actions are captured by the standard undo history of 3ds Max (Ctrl + Z).
Installation:
1) Drag the script into the 3ds Max window.
2) Customize>Customize User Interface, the button can be added to the toolbar from the section albatr0s.
