**Path Array Pro** is a 3ds Max script for quickly distributing any object along a spline, with full control over spacing, scale, orientation, and randomization.
I originally created this tool to solve a specific modeling problem while working on a beaded chandelier. I needed the beads to follow a spline, change size along the path, and have some controlled randomization.
Simply drag and drop the PathArrayPro.mse file directly into the 3ds Max viewport to launch the script.
### Features
- Distribute any object along any spline
- Live Update for instant changes
- Custom **Scale Curve** to control object size along the path
- Random **Position, Rotation, and Scale**
- Orient objects to the spline
- Adjustable spacing
- Generate and update the array
- Detach objects from the spline when you're ready to continue modeling
- Clear the generated array
The Scale Curve allows you to create custom size profiles along the spline. You can add multiple points and control exactly how the object scale changes from the beginning to the end of the path.
### Possible Uses
Path Array Pro can be useful for:
- Architectural installations
- Ceiling slats
- Facade elements
- Lighting
- Chandeliers
- Decorative elements
- Landscape objects
- Repetitive modeling tasks
- Any object that needs to be distributed along a path
