Road Stone 2.0 is a 3D Max script that generates editable stone paths and areas. It's ideal for exterior projects.
You just need to create any closed spline, select it, and drag the script Voronoi_shelf_splitting.mse into the scene.
The spline is converted into an editable mesh using the Quadify Mesh modifier.
Afterwards, we edit the resulting mesh in the "Topology" pop-up window, selecting options for dividing the mesh using the Voronoi tiling method.
You can also edit the polygonal mesh manually or in any way you know.
As a result of editing, you will get an approximate location of the future stones.
After editing, assign one of the two script options to your mesh: Road_riverstone_new.mse or Road_sandstone_new.mse.
The script is supplied in two versions: for a path made of riverstone and slate.
Once the scripts are finished running, the mesh is converted into Editable Poly with a TurboSmooth modifier applied and the ability to customize it.
Also included are corona legacy mtl and corona physical mtl materials, 4K stone textures and a scene.
The archive also contains the previous version of the script for splitting and converting a spline into a mesh, with the ability to edit it in the Subdivide modifier.
For the script to work correctly, your scene's units of measurement must be in centimeters.
Works in 3Ds Max versions 2018+ inclusive, due to the fact that Autodesk renamed some API classes in version 2018.
