Unpretentious and bold designer Kenzo Takada, "the most Parisian of Japanese designers," created a unique and exceptional collection of fabrics and ceramics for Roche Bobois. To "dress" the modular sofa Mah Jong, Takada was inspired by ancient kimonos used in Noh theater, reinterpreting their patterns and colors to create an exquisite harmony symbolizing the three times of day: Asa (morning), Hiru (noon), Yoru (evening).

Description
A sofa that can be assembled from individual elements upholstered in fabrics from the No Gaku collection designed by Kenzo Takada. A modular system with endless combinations thanks to the seat cushions (D.95 x W.95 x H.19 cm) and straight and corner backs (H.53 cm). All elements are stuffed and stitched by hand. Optionally available are adjustable backs with a manual mechanism and small cushions. Hand stitching with white waxed thread.
