4 Phyllostachys aurea plants in the scene.
Phyllostachys aurea is a species of bamboo, and is of the running bamboo type, belonging to the diverse Bambuseae tribe. It is native to Fujian and Zhejiang in China. The species name aurea; and the Dutch name golden bamboo refer to the color of the stems of this bamboo. The color of the young twigs is still green, but it changes to yellow-green. The sunnier this bamboo is, the yellower (and golder) the trunks become. Bamboo also has a quirk: once every 40 to 100 years, the bamboos bloom worldwide. This will take approximately 10 years.
