This script automatically calculates the total surface area of selected objects. It features a simple interface for working with geometry and splines, and supports automatic unit conversion.
Logic of work
Select one or more objects in the scene and press the "CALCULATE SELECTED" button.
If splines are selected, the script displays a warning that they must be closed to calculate the area correctly.
PS If the resulting area is 0.0, the script will issue a notification about a possible error in the geometry or unclosed splines.
