The Castiglioni brother's Taccia Table Lamp is one of Flos' most recognizable designs.
This Flos table light is renowned for being a classic of Italian mid-century design. The Taccia Lamp's base features a truncated, fluted column that houses the light fitting. Its upside-down 'dome' reflector creates the illusion that light is generated from the shade rather than its base. The painted aluminum reflector provides both direct and indirect light. It is gloss white on the outside and matt white on the inside and encased in transparent mouth-blown glass. The stem is crafted from matt black bronze or silver anodised aluminum with a nickel-plated base.
