Looking for a very specific grey corner sofa with wooden legs? Or a loft-style bar stool with a metal base and leather seat? Maybe a wabi-sabi futon with a wooden frame? Sound familiar?
Now you can type a request like that directly into search on 3dsky. Describe the model in your own words, and AI Search will suggest relevant models from the catalog.
AI Search matches models by visual characteristics, so describe what the model looks like rather than entering a specific product or model name. You can include the color, style, material, shape, era, or all of them at once, just like we did with the sofa above.
Separate the details with commas, this helps AI interpret your query more accurately. For example: “grey corner sofa, wooden legs, soft fabric upholstery.” One more thing: use at least three words in your query.
“We’re currently experimenting with a new technology and testing how well it handles search across the 3dsky catalog. We’ll be looking at the queries people enter, what they find, and how they rate the results,” says the CPO at 3dsky
The feature is still in beta. Give it a tricky query, see what happens, and tell us in the comments how close it got.
